Privacy Policy
1. Scope, controller, and contact
This policy applies to the Giyora mobile app, API, community features, and related support pages provided by Adeluna LLC (“Adeluna”). Contact support@adeluna.net for privacy questions, data-rights requests, or content-safety concerns.
Giyora does not sell personal data. When advertising is enabled, Google AdMob may serve personalized or non-personalized ads. The iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission; declining does not remove app functionality and disables identifier-based personalization.
2. Data we collect and why
| Data | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account and identifiers | Email, username, secure password hash, session tokens | Registration, sign-in, account security, and support |
| Profile and personalization | Avatar, bio, optional gender/birth date, sizing, measurements, and style preferences | Profile, sizing, and personalized outfit suggestions |
| Wardrobe and AI inputs | Garment images and details, outfit requests, and a selected person image for virtual try-on | Background removal, outfit canvas, recommendations, and optional virtual try-on |
| Social content and interactions | Post/story media, captions, comments, likes, saves, follows, views, blocks, and reports | Community feed, social features, abuse prevention, and moderation |
| Location | Precise location and derived city, only after permission | Local weather-based outfit suggestions; a default city is used if declined |
| Purchases | Store, product ID, transaction/receipt token, and subscription status | Verify Apple/Google purchases and provide entitlements; Adeluna never receives full card details |
| Advertising and device | When ads are enabled: device/advertising identifiers (IDFA only with permission), IP address, device details, and ad interactions | AdMob ad delivery, consent choices, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and performance measurement |
| Technical and security | IP address, request time, session, error, and abuse-prevention logs | Security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and service integrity |
3. Community visibility
- Your username, avatar, bio, follow counts, and public posts may be visible to other Giyora users.
- Content submitted to the community feed is public by default; its caption, comments, and likes may be displayed with it.
- Stories are shown only to the account owner and accounts that follow the owner. A story owner can see which accounts viewed that story.
- Bookmarks and block choices are not disclosed to other users. Reports are available only to authorized moderators.
- Blocked accounts, content, and interactions are removed from both parties’ experience.
Do not publish personal, sensitive, or third-party information in public content unless you have the right and consent to do so.
4. Automated safety and AI accounts
Post captions, story captions, and comments may be screened by automated filters for spam, scams, harassment, and high-risk content patterns. Authorized moderators may review reported content. Synthetic stylist accounts created through the administration panel are disclosed in the app with an “AI Stylist” label; their name, image, post, comment, or like may be generated by AI or administrator automation.
5. Service providers and international transfers
Data is disclosed only as necessary to Adeluna’s hosting/email infrastructure and the following service categories:
- Store and payment: Apple and Google for purchase and subscription verification.
- Advertising and consent: Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for ad delivery, regional consent choices, fraud prevention, and ad performance.
- Weather/location: Open-Meteo and device-platform location/geocoding services for the requested local weather.
- Optional AI and image processing: depending on administrator configuration, OpenAI, Google Gemini, fal.ai, RunPod/FASHN, Dezgo, or PhotoRoom. Only the prompt, garment image, or person image needed for the user-selected feature is submitted.
A person/full-body photo, selected wardrobe images, and the instruction are sent to a third-party AI service only after the app’s explicit “Consent and continue” choice; no request is sent if you decline. The recipient is the provider currently enabled in the administration panel, with its configured fallback used only when necessary. The selected and fallback provider may change with configuration or availability. These providers may process data outside your country. Adeluna expects providers to process data only under applicable instructions, equivalent privacy protection, and appropriate security obligations. You can withdraw consent in Settings → Privacy & Security. Wardrobe photos, try-on images, posts, stories, and comments are not provided to advertising networks for ad personalization.
6. Permissions and on-device data
- Camera: only when you choose to capture a wardrobe, profile, community, or try-on image.
- Photos: only when you select an image or choose to save an output.
- Location While Using: only when you choose local weather. No background or always-on location is collected.
- Notifications: to show daily edits, social interactions, and account activity; declining does not restrict the app.
- App Tracking Transparency: IDFA-based personalized advertising and cross-app/site measurement are used only after you grant permission in the iOS system prompt. If you decline, identifier-based tracking is disabled; non-personalized or contextual ads may still appear and no app feature is removed.
You can withdraw permissions in iOS Settings. The app stores session and language/theme preferences on the device.
7. Retention and deletion
- Account, profile, wardrobe, and membership records remain while the account is open or until the relevant record is deleted.
- Posts are displayed until you delete them, delete the account, or moderation removes them. Limited records removed for safety may be retained as necessary for security, appeals, and legal obligations.
- Stories become unavailable after 24 hours; expired story media and view records are removed during cleanup. You may delete a story earlier.
- Session, security, report, and purchase-verification records are kept only as necessary for fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.
Settings → Delete My Account permanently deletes the account after password confirmation, together with associated profile, wardrobe, outfit, story, post, comment, and uploaded-media data. Limited information that must be retained by law or has been de-identified in safety records may be excluded. Deleting Giyora does not automatically cancel an Apple/Google subscription; cancel it separately in the store account.
8. Your choices and rights
You can correct the profile, delete your own posts/stories, unfollow, block users, and permanently delete the account in the app. You can change ATT in iOS Settings; where advertising consent is required, privacy choices presented through UMP also apply. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of data, restriction, or objection by emailing support@adeluna.net. We may request reasonable verification to protect you and the account.
9. Security, children, and changes
We use encrypted transport, secure password hashing, access controls, and moderation tools, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Giyora is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that data belongs to a child under 13, we will take steps to remove the account and associated data. We update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide an in-app notice for material policy changes.
